  In 1921, an ancient manuscript was bought by a University professor from an antique shop. The contents were found utterly violent and disturbing. Despite the fiction-like plot, the events mentioned in the story were highly suspected to be linked with a few incidents that took place a century ago in England.

  In 1820, a series of mysterious murdering occurred in a small town in England. The culprit was yet unknown and the mystery remained unsolved. The massacre was thought to be one of supernatural happening. Superstitions and rituals spread among the community.

  Several serious deaths involved were recorded as the following.

  On 5th May, Earl Beaumont was found dead in his mansion, along with a young maiden. Their deaths were suspected to be a result of brutal murder by bandits. The butler was found insane in the scene while all the other servants had fled beforehand. Besides Earl Beaumont and the maiden, three more corpses were discovered in a room and were proved to have been killed by Earl Beaumont.

  On 12th May, Mrs. Lefebvre, the wife of a local famous pharmacist, died of an unidentified and cureless disease which caused her entire body to rot and eventually degenerate.

  On 15th May, during an execution of a witch, Prince Eugène was mistakenly tied to the stake and burnt to death. Two soldiers were arrested for this.

  On 26th May, Madam Hernandez fell off from the stairs in her mansion due to heart attack and perished.

  On 30th May, Mrs. Green and one of her daughters Elisa Green fell into the river and drowned. The reason for the falling remained a mystery.

  On 6th June, Sir Trevor Mitchell and his son John Mitchell were found dead in their villa. They were reported to have died of choking and great amount of vomits were discovered near their corpses.

  On 9th June, Valerie Bailey was poisoned to death.

  On 16th June, Valerie Bailey’s husband, Jesse Lowman died of same reason in her funeral. Erica Singh, Valerie’s best friend slipped and fell into a well on the same day.

  On 29th June, Detective Carter was found dead in an old abandoned farmhouse. He was hit in the head by a detached roof..

  On 7th July, a villa owned by local mayor Sir Dowson was burnt down by fire. Several corpses were found, one of which belonged to the infamous child kidnapper and criminal Virginia Hoffman.

  On 14th July, a florist Janice Adams was found dead in her own shop. She was struck to death when one of her glass shelf fell on top of her.

  On 28th July, a famous vocalist, Gabriella Ali from Heaven’s theatre was found dead in her bedroom. She committed suicide by stabbing herself with glass broken from the mirror.

  On 15th August, a carpet store owner Greg Shaw was found dead in a back alley. There were severe lesions and scratches on his body. His friend, Ted Simpson was found lying next to him and had fainted due to shock.

  On 6th September, a conflict between the peasants and their employers out broke in the local church. A cult was suspected to be in process of performance by Father Moore. A group of people committed suicide and killed one another. The dead included Sir. Dowell, Madam Gray, Madam Watson, Sir Thomson, Madam Clark, Sir Patel, Sir Morris and a few other landlords and noble gentlemen.
